In fact, after I did it on Saturday Night Live, they got letters from people, saying, Does he speak German?. Yeah, that was way before theyd done a lot of stuff like that. [Laughs.] After leaving Saturday Night Live in 1980 after 5 years on the show, Morris worked nonstop in films and on televisionand no job proved too small, and no film too cheesy. [Laughs.] AVC: Do you enjoy the opportunity to dabble in dramatic work when the opportunity presents itself? So he brought his own group and did not use me.
