December 3, 2020 Ford EcoBoost problems have caused a class action lawsuit that alleges 1.5-liter, 1.6-liter and 2-liter EcoBoost engines allow coolant to leak into the cylinders. In order to get to the #5 and #6 spark plug, youll have to unplug the harness connector on the injection pump. Additionally, engines are prone to a variety of other issues that we are not discussing particularly as they age and mileage increases. Is this possible ? Even if you think it will be very expensive to take the car to a mechanic, it can actually sometimes be cheaper to get a proper diagnosis rather than replacing fully functional parts. @RichBrew has been through this already with the same symptoms as @Cmw458 and I.
